Gregg Johnson, PT, FFMT, FAAOMPT is a 1971 graduate from the University of Southern California School of Physical Therapy.  Following PT school, he was accepted into a one-year Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) residency with the systems developer Maggie Knott at Kaiser Vallejo Rehabilitation Center.  He remained at Kaiser as a senior PNF faculty for six years.  During his time at Kaiser Vallejo, he began his extensive study of Manual Therapy approaches, including Maitland, Norwegon, Cyriax, and alternative approaches such as Rolfing, Feldenkrais, Tragger Work, Alexandar Technique, Aston Patterning, and Hellerwork. Mr. Johnson is best known for his identification of the need for Physical Therapists to integrate treatment of the facial system into manual therapy and the development of the first Soft Tissue Mobilization course (Functional Orthopedics) in 1980.
